A notice would have saved car owner from getting booked
| I CHANGED my car on Jan 16 and immediately went to the HDB branch office in Choa Chu Kang to inform the staff to update my season-parking ticket.
However, I received a notice of parking offence the very next day - for parking without a valid parking ticket. I had to take another day off to go to the branch office, where I learnt that it took a day to update the system. As the branch-office staff knew that one day was needed to update their system, why wasn't any action taken to avoid such inconvenience to ticket holders? They could have issued a notice for the ticket holder to display on the vehicle. This would have saved me from getting booked. Toh Kheng Tiong | |
