Why no reserve player in S'pore's gaming team?
| I REFER to Saturday's article, 'Punch dashes gamer's career dreams'. I was surprised to find out that team manager Aaron Aw had no reserve players and was 'forced' to play in the team.
As an avid gamer, I follow the Singapore gaming scene closely. Perhaps Mr Aw can clarify his human resource management practices. I hope there will be greater transparency in the drafting of team members for a team representing our country. What Wilson Chia did was punishable but to be banned for life for hitting his team manager seems to be an 'overkill'. Championship Gaming Series should rethink its stand on this case and readjust the punishment accordingly. Tan Wei Wei | |
