SingTel's paperless billing options
| I REFER to Thursday's online letter, 'Go green, SP Services' by Mr Syu Ying Kwok. We are pleased to share with Mr Syu that SingTel takes ongoing steps to be more environmentally friendly and provides paperless billing options for its customers.
SingTel myBill is our electronic billing service for consumer broadband, fixed-line and mobile services. It offers an online alternative to customers who have been asking for a paperless and more environmentally-friendly option to managing their bills. Customers who sign up for SingTel myBill will enjoy free and convenient access to their SingTel bills when they log on to www.singtel.com/myBill. At no charge, SingTel myBill customers can retrieve their bills from the past six months as well as up to three months of call details. Mobile call details are also provided free. Online payment is facilitated via Giro-On-Demand, on top of existing modes of payment such as Internet banking, post offices and credit cards. To further promote environmental consciousness, SingTel myBill features environmentally-friendly tips which are kindly provided by Environmental Challenge Organisation (Singapore), a non-profit and non-government youth organisation. For more information on SingTel myBill, customers can call the Customer Service Hotline 1688 or visit www.singtel.com/myBill. SingTel is committed to being a responsible corporate citizen and is a committee member of the Singapore Compact, a national society which furthers the corporate social responsibility movement in Singapore. We constantly participate in forums and dialogues with stakeholders to explore environment sustainability options for our business. We thank Mr Syu for his feedback.
