Power billing: SP Services replies

| WE REFER to Mr Shawn Ang's online feedback last Thursday, 'Paying the price for faulty power meter'. On Jan 14, an SP Services technician visited Mr Ang's premises and found that his meter disc was faulty, resulting in the under-registering of his electricity consumption. The faulty meter was replaced.
The Regulated Supply Service Code for electricity supply requires us to backcharge customers for any power consumed during the period while the meter was faulty. We have accepted Mr Ang's arguments on his consumption during the period the meter was faulty. We have re-assessed Mr Ang's electricity consumption and resolved the matter with Mr Ang.
