SingTel helps out on disputes over charges
I REFER to the online letter, 'Costly SMS spam that started with a contest for kids' by Mr Tony Pang Keh Wah (March 19). We have contacted Mr Pang and explained the subscription process for Glomobi content services. �His subscription charges for Glomobi content have been cancelled and his bill will be adjusted accordingly.

SingTel bills customers on behalf of the content providers and our current practice complies with the guidelines in Infocomm Development Authority's new code of practice for Premium Rate Service Providers. �We also assist our customers should there be disputes over charges by highlighting their case with the respective content provider and tracking the progress on their behalf. We thank Mr Pang for his feedback.
