Spa almost always does not have any available time slot which customer wants
| EARLY last year, I received a call from True Spa, saying that I was selected for a complimentary spa service at their outlet.
When I was at their outlet, the consultant there persuaded me to take up a membership and said that I could use the membership at any of their spas. However, till date I have yet to finish using up the amount of $500 which I had paid. I go mainly for their manicure and pedicure services and most of the time when I call they do not have any available time slot which I wanted. According to them, all appointments can be made only one week in advance and they have a lot of members thus the reason: it's always full. I was also told that if I were to go down personally to their outlet I can make the appointments one month in advance. Knowing that during the Chinese Lunar New Year, manicure and pedicure services are always fully booked, I went down to their outlet personally in early January to book an appointment one month in advance for Feb 6 at 3pm. However, on Jan 30, I received a call from True Spa and was told that the 3pm slot I wanted was taken up and I was only left with the 1.30pm slot and no other days are available anymore. I told the girl I had booked my appointment one month in advance and that it was ridiculous to inform me at such short notice that the slot was not available any more. I am working till 1pm on Feb 6 and definitely won't be able to make it at 1.30pm. All she could say was sorry and that there were no other slots available. I requested their manager to return my call to rectify this matter, but I have waited for two days and till date no one has bothered to call at all. If I had known True Spa was unable to deliver what they promised, I would not have taken up their membership. Annette Phua Swee Lian (Ms) | |
