Same telephone number for two households: Processing error the cause, says SingTel

| I REFER to the letter, 'Outrageous that same SingTel number can be given to two households' by Miss Adele Ang Swee Hahn (Online forum, Jan 29).
We have apologised to Miss Ang for the inconvenience caused and the matter has been resolved. Miss Ang's phone line is now working properly. Due to a processing error by our staff, we regret that Miss Ang's telephone number was programmed incorrectly. We view such errors seriously and have implemented measures such as improving our backroom processes and taking appropriate disciplinary actions. We thank Miss Ang for her feedback.
