No link between RedWheels' presence and SingTel-Powerhouse promotion
I REFER to the letter, 'Sorry, no SingTel van, no free entry to Powerhouse' (Online forum, Aug 6).

We thank Mr Khoo Jia Jun for his support of the joint promotion between SingTel and St James Powerhouse.

The promotion, which invited SingTel mobile subscribers to flash the logo on their mobile phones for free entry into Powerhouse, was independent of RedWheels' presence.

The promotion ended its run on July 18, and the last SMS invitation was sent out on July 11. This explains why Mr Khoo was unable to gain free entry into the club when he visited on Aug 1.

St James Powerhouse has expressed its apologies to Mr Khoo for the misleading reply on the correlation between RedWheels' presence and the promotion, and has since briefed its staff accordingly.

We have also contacted Mr Khoo to explain the situation and apologise for the inconvenience caused.
