Can budget airline passengers take their own meals on board?
MR SIMON Owen Khoo (a budget airlines employee) stated in his letter, 'Concept of a budget airline explained' (Online forum, Aug 7): 'I, for one, take food from home to eat on board'.

Passengers are warned not to take food on board, presumably to maximise profits of the airline which sells food on board.

Different rules for staff?

Or can I now take my meals on board?

Could Tiger Airways please explain?
