Residents who do not wish to receive unaddressed admail can contact hotline to be delisted
| I REFER to Mr Peter Lo's letter, ' 'Legitimate' junk mail: SingPost needs to pull up its socks' (Online forum, July 30).
As a mail service provider, SingPost takes its delivery standards seriously and is mindful that they are met to customers' satisfaction. We would like to request Mr Lo to contact our hotline 6845 6210 to assist in our investigation. We would also like to share with Mr Lo and all readers that SingPost delivers all mail, addressed and unaddressed, as instructed by the sender. Admail delivery is a service provided by postal service providers worldwide. We have also received feedback that these admail are appreciated as they offer interesting promotions and valuable information on various products and services to the recipients. For admail delivered by SingPost, they must meet our standards and criteria which exclude all photocopied and black and white flyers and must be of a certain minimum size. Residents who do not wish to receive unaddressed admail can contact the same hotline to be delisted under the mail-preference option.
