NUH doctor and staff who went beyond call of duty
| MY FAMILY and I would like to put on record our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Dr Wilson Wang and his staff from NUH for their professional care and attention in the treatment of my mother, when she underwent total knee replacement surgeries to both her knees earlier this year.
The concern Dr Wang showed prior to the first surgery regarding her gum infection was above and beyond what most patients might expect from a busy surgeon. This same level of commitment and care was provided again post-surgery both times. Despite his hectic schedule, Dr Wang visited my mum several times after her surgeries, and goes beyond the call of duty to ensure that she is recuperating well. Dr Wang's constant encouragement and reassurance put my mum, and our whole family at ease about the operations. He has certainly touched our lives with his dedication and gentle bedside manner. We believe that my mum's speedy recovery is totally to the credit of Dr Wang's brilliant surgical skills, patience, encouragement and sensitivity towards her physical and mental well-being. No words can express how grateful we are to Dr Wang for his outstanding treatment of my mother during this period. A special word of thanks goes to his nurse Rukumani, who effectively coordinated my mum's clinical visits such that they were efficient and stress-free. In addition, our appreciation also extends to his team of doctors, especially Dr Ajay, who kindly attended to my mum during her stay in the hospital and each and every one of the staff who took care of my mum in Ward 78.
