MPs and cabinet ministers will debate on the Budget announced by Finance Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam last Friday.

Singaporeans will receive $1.8 billion giveaways after a bumper budget surplus of $6.45 billion from last year, thanks to excellent economic growth and a buoyant property market.
