Retirement age for M'sia's civil service raised to 58
PUTRAJAYA - PRIME Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi announced on Saturday that the retirement age for Malaysian civil servants will be raised from 56 to 58.

The move will be effective from July 1.

Mr Abdullah said the decision to raise the retirement age was made after considering its impact on job opportunities for fresh graduates. -- The Star/ANN.
