Taiwan's Ma calls on China to remove missiles
TAIPEI - TAIWAN president elect Ma Ying-jeou, of the Nationalist Party, on Saturday called on China to dismantle its missiles aimed at the island before the twosides can engage in peace talks.

Mr Ma made the comments at a media briefing after winning a landslide victory in presidential elections. China considers Taiwan a breakaway province. -- AFP
