Military plane on test flight crashes in central Myanmar, killing 2
YANGON - A MILITARY plane crashed during a test flight in central Myanmar on Monday, killing the pilot and co-pilot, government officials said.

The plane crashed near an international airport in Myanmar's second largest city of Mandalay as it was trying to take off, a government official said on condition of anonymity because he was not authorised to speak to the press.

The two pilots were the only people on board the plane, which experienced engine trouble, he said. The type of the plane was not immediately known. -- AP
