Home United's Shahril Ishak (red jersey) being tackled by Hafiz Osman, as arch-rivals Singapore Armed Forces FC and Home squared off in the inaugural Singapore Charity Shield at the Jalan Besar Stadium yesterday.

SAFFC, last season's Double winners, defeated the league runners-up 5-4 in a penalty shoot-out, after the match ended 1-1 in normal time.

In the 69th minute, Shahril burst down the left and squared the ball for Kengne Ludovick to give Home the lead.
