Hun Sen puts job on the line over racers
CAMBODIA'S Prime Minister has promised to resign if he cannot stop the children of the rich from misbehaving on the roads.

Mr Hun Sen is tired of young men causing chaos on the streets of Phnom Penh by racing their expensive cars and motorbikes, a BBC News report said.

He has ordered the police to detain the youngsters' parents when they collect their children from custody.

If the parents are government or military officials, they will be sacked.

If the move still does not discourage the youngsters, he says he will quit.

Many of the reckless drivers are little more than teenagers who have been enjoying the benefits of Cambodia's rapid economic growth thanks to their wealthy parents.
