His trip, which begins today, will see him meeting various leaders, including His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al-Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers of the Sultanate of Oman.

He will also witness the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) and the Information Technology Authority of Oman, and attend the inaugural Oman-Singapore ICT Business Forum.

In Qatar, Dr Lee will attend the inaugural Singapore-Qatar e-Government Forum.

He is accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts and IDA as well as a 16-member business delegation led by the Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation. His trip ends on Friday.
