| The case:
The murder of Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu, 28, whose charred remains were found in a jungle clearing in Shah Alam, Selangor, last October. The accused: Police officers Azilah Hadri, 31, and Azhar Umar, 36, are jointly charged with her murder, which occurred some time between Oct 19 and 20 last year. Prominent political analyst Abdul Razak Baginda, 47, is accused of abetting the duo in the crime. The witnesses: Ms Siti Aisyah Mohd Azlah, Abdul Razak's secretary; Mr Mohamad Zaini Zainordin, chief security guard of the building where Abdul Razak's office was located; and Assistant Commissioner Mastor Mohd Ariff, deputy commandant of the Unit Tindakan Khas (Special Action Forces). | |
