STOCKHOLM - SWEDISH striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic admitted on Saturday that he would be interested in a move to Spanish club Barcelona if the right offer was made. The Inter Milan player told Swedish tabloid Expressen: 'There's a chance that I'll go to Barcelona if a concrete offer is made. In this case it would be interesting for me. It's up to Inter to decide what they want to do. I respect my contract. I do my job and am happy to be here.' Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti revealed on Friday that he was in talks with the Spaniards about the Swede. Cameroon forward Samuel Eto'o could be heading in the opposite direction while Brazil full-back Maxwell and Belarus winger Alexander Hleb could also switch between the two. Spanish media have reported that Barcelona would pay 45 million euros (S$92 million) for the Swede in a deal which would also include Eto'o. Ibrahimovic, who has been with Inter since 2004, is considered one of the best strikers in European football but has hinted on several occasions that he was ready for a move to Spain from Italy while Barca have long made it clear they want to be shot of Eto'o. -- AFP | |
