KUALA LUMPUR - MANCHESTER United will play another match in Malaysia to compensate for pulling out of a game in Indonesia after the Jakarta hotel they were due to stay in was bombed. The English Premier League champions had been scheduled to play an Indonesian All-Star XI on Monday but cancelled the trip after blasts struck the Ritz-Carlton and Marriott hotels, killing at least nine people. Instead, they will play the same Malaysian XI they beat here Sunday 3-2 in front of 85,000 fans, organisers said. Some 3,000 seats at the National Stadium here have been allocated for fans who bought tickets for the match in Jakarta. United's pre-season Asian tour also takes them to South Korea for a game on July 24 and Hangzhou in China on July 26. -- AFP | |
