MARSEILLE (France) - FRANCE striker Djibril Cisse will play at Panathinaikos next season after a deal for the player was concluded with Marseille, the French club said on Friday.

The 27-year-old forward spent last season on loan at Sunderland but the English club didn't make the move permanent.

Cisse arrived in Greece on Thursday and will undergo a medical before signing with the Greek side, Marseille said on its Web site.

Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Cisse was expected to sign a four-year deal, according to sports daily L'Equipe. -- AP
