|
|
| SYDNEY - ENGLISH Premier League club Fulham will play three matches against A-League teams on a pre-season tour of Australia in July, the clubs said on Monday.
Fulham, currently ninth in the EPL, will play Melbourne Victory on July 11, Perth Glory on July 15 and Gold Coast United on a date to be decided. Australian goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer will be in the Fulham team, which will be making its first trip to Australia. Glory will also play newly-crowned English Championship league champions Wolverhampton Wanderers in another pre-season friendly in Perth on July 10. Former England international striker Robbie Fowler will have his first outing for his new Australian club, North Queensland Fury, against Wolves on the same Perth-Fulham bill in Perth on July 15. -- AFP | |
