THIS could be his one and only chance to win silverware with the Singapore Lions, who are through to the semi-finals of the Asean Football Federation Suzuki Cup. But that dream appeared to have shattered for Aleksandar Duric last week when he fractured his leg. He was kicked by an opponent in the game against Cambodia, which Singapore won 5-0. Still, Duric, 38, is not about to give up. He has decided to undergo a medical procedure called Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy, which is considered experimental in the field of sports medicine. Read Wang Meng Meng's full story in Saturday's edition of The Straits Times. | |
