SINGAPOREAN golfer Lam Chih Bing has taken a convincing 4 stroke lead heading into the final day of the Merceds-Benz Masters Singapore, at the Laguna National Golf and Country Club on Friday. In what he describes as the 'best ball striking round of his career', the 31-year-old hit all 18 greens in regulation, to finish the third round with a 5-under 67, bringing his three-day total to 204. This leaves him ahead of his three closest competitors, Malaysian M. Sasidaran, Michael Bibat of the Philippines, and Pariya Junhasavasdikul of Thailand, who are all tied at 208. Fellow Singaporean Mardan Mahmat currently sits in 9th position with a total of 213. | |
