Jingjing not moving to HK

HONG KONG - CHINA'S diving star Guo Jingjing said on Friday that she had no plan to move to Hong Kong and represent the city at the London Olympics in 2012.

Guo, who won two golds in Beijing this month, tried to dispel rumours that her boyfriend, the city's tycoon heir Kenneth Fok, was arranging for her to live in Hong Kong through a quality migrant admission scheme.

'I have no plan to move to Hong Kong. I am still a member of China's national diving team and there will be many new plans and new goals to follow,' told a press conference in Hong Kong. She is in the city for a three-day visit with China's other Olympic champions.

Local media have reported that Guo wanted to represent Hong Kong, which competes under its own name in the Olympics, for the 2012 Games.

They also quoted sources saying she planned to marry Fok - the eldest son of International Olympic Committee member and businessman Timothy Fok - next year. But the diver said she had no plans to get married soon. -- AFP
