Fashion gets a boost
| FASHION designer Jonathan Seow, 32, thinks the local fashion scene is in a slump.
'I feel the local fashion scene is not receiving ample genuine appreciation, which brings about good design. It is a rather impossible mission to be based in Singapore,' says the Singaporean, who helms fashion label Woods & Woods, which he started in 2000. He is hoping to give the scene a boost with his exhibition, titled Resuscitation, which is on at 72-13 in Mohamed Sultan Road from Thursday to next Wednesday. The exhibition comprises an installation-cum-retail space, a new media installation as well as a live fashion presentation for invited guests on the last day.
