The pair, a 15-year-old boy and his friend, a 12-year-old girl, were walking in the direction of Block 404 at about 2 pm when two men approached them.

They forced the teenagers to follow them and threatened to beat them up if they did not comply.

When they reached Block 404, one of the men took out what looked to be a knife, and demanded that the boy and girl hand over their belongings.

The teenagers gave up their mobile phones worth at least $250 and a pair of headphones.

The two men then fled.
