AN INSURANCE broking company is offering a novel package for those involved in lawsuits by insuring their legal and court fees if they lose their case.

Veteran insurance broker Lockton Companies (Singapore) will launch its offering, known as the After The Event Insurance, here on Wednesday. It also plans to introduce it in Hong Kong soon.

The policy is open to those doing the suing as well as those being sued. It is available to individuals and businesses and would cover mainly commercial litigation, professional negligence and insolvency cases.
