SLEEPING in his friend's unlocked van on June 16 at about 10pm cost a 56-year-old man his mobile phone and wallet. He was out with friends along Jalan Besar when he felt tired and decided to take a nap. When he awoke at about 2am on June 17, he found his right rear trouser pocket cut open, and his wallet, which had been in it, taken away. It contained $500 cash, his identity card and bank cards. His mobile phone, which was on the passenger seat next to where he slept, was also missing. The police are appealing for witnesses to this incident. Members of the public can call 1800-255-0000 if they have more information about the above cases. | |
