A CYCLIST died in an accident which happened on Monday evening at about 7.20 pm near the junction of Tuas View Link and Tuas View Walk 2.

The 28-year-old Bangladeshi man was turning left onto Tuas South Ave 8 when he collided with a lorry heading in the same direction.

He suffered head injuries and was pronounced dead on the spot by paramedics.

The lorry driver, a 57-year-old Indian-Malaysian, was unhurt and is currently assisting the police in investigations.
