M-cyclist loses thumb

| A MOTORCYCLIST lost control of his motorcycle and skidded before slamming into a rubbish bin along the roadside on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened at 3.40pm on Namly Road, in the direction towards Bukit Timah Road. The 20-year-old motorcyclist suffered head injuries and had part of his left thumb amputated as a result of the acciddent. He remains warded in the Intensive Care Unit at the National University Hospital. | |
