Discounts on S'pore Flyer
By Nicholas Yong

A 20 per cent discount on tickets at the Singapore Flyer awaits Tiger Airways passengers when they present their boarding passes at the iconic attraction.

The deal is a first for both companies.

It will also see a capsule on the world's largest observation wheel dressed up in Tiger's corporate colours till the end of month.

'The two companies are working together to get more people from around the region to experience the wonders that Singapore has to offer,' said Ms Rosalynn Tay, the budget carrier's managing director.

The tie-up was announced as Tiger put up 20,000 tickets for sale at just $1, including taxes and surcharges.

The tickets are for flights to nine destinations, including Kota Kinabalu, Haikou and Macau. Bookings open from now till June 5.
