More raids as game piracy rise

| GAME pirates are forming ranks here again after a lull in the past few years and the authorities are upping the ante to track them down.
Following prolific raids on shops selling pirated game discs in the late 1990s and early 2000s, many of the pirates were punished, cleaned up their acts or moved their businesses underground. Subsequently, enforcement by the authorities also decreased, said Mr Cyril Chua, spokesman for the Entertainment Software Association (ESA).
