She was walking along the sheltered walkway with her toddler son along Mei Ling Street when a man grabbed her gold necklace from behind.

The victim held onto the gold chain and shouted for help. The culprit then punched her on her chin and fled with the chain towards Block 152.

The gold chain was valued at $3,500. The suspect is about 1.7 metres tall and was clad in a blue t-shirt and cream coloured pants.
