Home schooled youths excel
| By Felicia Low | |
| NOT everyone takes to polytechnic life straight after eleven years of home schooling and excel.
But cousins Lee Xunyong, 20, and Tan Jingyan, 21, have done just that. The two of them graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with a GPA close to a perfect score of four. But how different do they find life spent in a polytechnic from their years being home schooled? 'It's the same,' says Xunyong. 'Both, whether coming to poly or home schooled, I think education requires a lot of motivation and discipline so in that sense its same.' Adds Jingyan, the older of the two, 'Being home schooled does not mean you are a social misfits or anything like that.' View the Razor video here. | |
