More club disputes

MORE squabbles within the Singapore Swimming Club have gone to the courts. Two club members have found themselves on the receiving end of criminal defamation complaints while, in a separate case, a club member recently applied to the High Court seeking a declaration that club funds cannot be used to defend the club president in an ongoing court dispute. These cases bring to eight the total number of club-linked disputes that have reached the courts since last year. Read the full story in Friday's edition of The Straits Times' Home section. | |
