The 54-year-old had parked his lorry at Beatty Lane, near Jalan Besar, at about 8.45 pm and locked his vehicle before heading to the nearby food court.

On his return, he found the passenger side window almost completely wound down.

His bag, which was placed behind the driver's seat, was ransacked. Two mobile phones valued at $250 each, keys and other personal documents were missing.
