Ask Red Cross chief anything
By Serene Luo

THE chairman of the Red Cross movement in Singapore will be taking questions and answering anything and everything about the group - on Facebook.

For two hours on Friday, as part of World Red Cross Day, Mr Tee Tua Ba, will host a special question-and-answer session on a thread on the Singapore Red Cross Society group page.

He said: 'Being in tune with the modern age, we cannot run away from the fact that technology is the way to the future. The young has taken to it like fish to water and we must maximise this way to communicate and reach a bigger audience.'

He will also upload a pre-recorded speech onto video-sharing website YouTube.

This is different from previous years where speeches or campaigns would only be publicised through the traditional media - usually a one-way channel.

Interested users can visit the Singapore Red Cross' Facebook page at http://bit.ly/t9Ff7' to ask their questions.
