| By Jessica Cheam | |
| THE Building and Construction Authority (BCA) said on Tuesday it will launch Singapore's inaugural International Green Building Conference in October.
This three-day green building event and exhibition expects to attract more than 6,000 participants from around the region and will showcase the best of the city-state's green building technologies and promote awareness. BCA's director of technology development, Mr Tan Tian Chong, said the event will help translate into reality Singapore's goal of greening 80 per cent of all its buldings by 2030. This is one of the ambitious targets outlined in a blueprint on sustainable development unveiled by the Government last week. | |
