2-day torch relay for AYG

| THE first Asian Youth Games to be held here will feature a torch relay with runners fanning out in an orchid-shaped route across Singapore.
About 180 torch-bearers and 70,000 people are expected to participate in the relay and related celebrations islandwide, said the relay's adviser, Central Singapore District Mayor Zainudin Nordin. It will be run over two days, June 28 and 29, and involve schoolchildren, families, community leaders and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong too.
