New club in town
OPENING next month is Singapore's largest nightspot in a shopping mall in town in 15 years.

At the 1,500 sq m bar-restaurant-club Social House, you can drink, dine and party in one of the seven private entertainment rooms, each equipped with Xbox and Nintendo Wii game consoles, iPod docking stations, wireless Internet connection, karaoke facilities and three 40-inch flat screen TVs.

That is just one of the highlights of Social House, located in Liang Court shopping centre in River Valley Road.

The newly refurbished mall is operated by AsiaMalls Management.

It has been a while since a nightspot of a comparable size has opened in a shopping centre in town.

The former Sparks disco, which occupied 3,255 sq m at Ngee Ann City, was hailed as the largest disco in Asia when it opened in 1993.
