Kumaresen Muthian alias Rathu, 28, is alleged to have caused the death of Mr Isaac S. Balasundra, 44, unemployed, at the flat between 5.30pm and 6.18pm on Tuesday.

Mr Balasundra lived with his sister in a flat in Yishun but was a regular visitor to the Henderson Road flat in the evenings.

Kumaresen is remanded. His case will come up for mention next Thursday.
