Thieves break into flat
| By Kim Spykerman | |
| A MAN saw two thieves breaking into his neighbour's flat as he was returning home at Choa Chu Kang Street 62 early Wednesday morning.
He saw one man standing outside the window along the corridor, holding a 1.6m-long stick. Moments later, he saw another climbing out of the window. They then fled down the stairs. He quickly alerted his neighbour, who was asleep at the time of the break-in. The neighbour, a man in his 50s, realised that two mobile phones and a watch worth $500 was missing from a shelf outside the bedroom. The window and the grille, both of which were believed to have been locked, were found open. The thieves are described as men who are in their 20s or 30s, of medium build and wearing light-coloured jeans. One was clad in a light-blue jacket while the other was in a black T-shirt. Anyone with information should call the Police hotline at 1800-255-0000. | |
