Cortina theft case
Fugitive Ee back in S'pore

| THE alleged thief involved in the Cortina Watch theft case, Jerry Ee, returned to Singapore on Thursday evening in the custody of Singapore police.
He landed at Changi Airport at about 7.45pm on a scheduled Singapore Airlines flight from Bangkok. Ee was then taken to the Police Cantonment Complex at about 8.45pm where he appeared to shy away from the over 20 reporters and cameramen who waited for him at the entrance. Arriving in two cars and flanked by police, Ee still wore the same clothes as when he was last seen surrendering to the Singapore Embassy in Bangkok on Tuesday. He also appeared to have cut his hair quite short. Ee may be charged with the Cortina theft in the next few days. Read the full story in Friday's edition of The Straits Times. | |
