Cerebos Pacific, the manufacturer of the popular health supplement, said the recall on the products sold in the US was due to compliance issues with import regulations rather than with quality or safety issues.

The US distributor had recalled products there as the US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service could not determine the source of the ingredients.

Cerebos, which has been importing the product into the US for 23 years, is now working with the US authorities to resolve the compliance issues.
