These are roads from East Coast Park leading towards the city, and include Mountbatten Road, Stadium Drive, Sims Way, Nicoll Highway, and Collyer Quay.

They will be progressively closed from 1am on Sunday, and in some cases, will only open after 7pm.

The police advise motorists to avoid the area, including nearby roads.

Buses that ply the affected roads will be diverted.

Parking restrictions on nearby roads will also be enforced strictly. Vehicles that are parked illegally and cause obstruction will be towed away.

SBS and SMRT buses serving the affected roads will be diverted during the road closures.

Nine SMRT bus services will be temporarily diverted from 6am to noon due to the road closures.

They are: SMRT bus services 75, 77, 106, 167, 171, 700A, 857, 960 and 961C.
