THE mischief case of former Laguna Park management committee chairman Lee Kok Leong has been adjourned again. The 62-year-old was charged last month with inserting glue into a resident's padlock, main wooden door and rear gate keyholes, causing damage of $410, at Block 5000E Marine Parade Road on Aug 25 last year. A second charge accuses him of putting glue into a neighbouring unit's front and rear wooden door keyholes resulting in damage of $180. Lee's lawyer, Mr Ramesh Tiwary, who is currently away, has made representations to the Attorney-General's Chambers and is awaiting a reply. Lee will be back on Feb 17. If convicted, he faces a jail term of up to one year and/or a fine on each charge. | |
