| SEVEN in 10 consumers who filed reports of questionable deals with Singapore's consumer watchdog had their complaints resolved last year.
The Consumers Association of Singapore (Case) recovered $3.7 million in cash and kind for consumers. A total of 2,140 complaints were filed against companies selling anything from time-share products to cars. The three highest amounts were recovered from the time-share industry ($1.6 million), and the education ($407,851) and telecommunications sectors ($347,518).
