A PRIME mover driver, who had been fined before for molestation 18 years ago, was back in court to plead guilty to a similar offence. Before imposing a $6,000 fine on Allen Yeo Poh Liang on Monday, District Judge Jeffrey Sim warned the 57-year-old married man to stop such behaviour or risk being jailed. The judge had told him that he would would not send him to jail despite his previous convictions which happened some time ago and he was fined then as well. Yeo thanked the judge. He admitted to rubbing the thigh of a 33-year-old woman with his left palm while sitting next to her inside an SBS bus along Tampines Avenue 7 on Jan 23 last year. The court heard that he had drunk beer before he rubbed his palm up and down the victim's right thigh three times. She reported him to the bus driver who contacted his control office. Yeo could have been jailed for up to two years and/or fined. | |
